Under the slogan "travelling the way to the work inclusion" Fundacion DISCAR organizes the 2nd IBEROAMERICAN SYMPOSIUM OF EMPLOYMENT WITH SUPPORT an event where therapeutic professionals, companies’ directors and representatives of Latin American and European Foundations, between others, will participate. This year the program will be centered in the actualization of the official policies about work inclusion, and also the evolution in the companies sectors and the experiences of the international foundations which have already established employment programs with support. + info

SUCCESS With Regina Theater full of people, the VARIETE of DISCAR WORKSHOPS was a real success. Students and teachers made a great show, full of humor and great starring. DISCAR RECEIVES THE QUEEN SOFIA PRIZE
Fundación Discar is the first Argentina organization to be distinguished by the Spanish Real Patronato de Discapacidad.
It is a prize that leaves a preceding and that makes all the teachers and professionals that form DISCAR very proud.

ON MARCH 18TH, WE GAVE QUEEN SOFIA THE FAMOUS "PALLAROLS ROSE"
In receiving the Queen Sofia Prize, the president of Discar Organization, Ms. Victoria Shocron, Ms Marta Mendia and the silversmith Juan Carlos Pallarols presented the Queen with an exact duplicate of the rose that was made for Maxima Zorreguieta, Princess of Holland. DISCAR thanks this great present which has been donated by the prestigious Pallarols.

Los Angeles Cinema Festival
ANITA WAS REWARDED
"ANITA", the last movie of Marcos Carnevale, obtained two prizes in the Los Angeles Latin Cinema Festival. The movie, starred by Norma Aleandro, Leonor Manzo, Luis Luque, Peto Menahem and Alejandra Manzo, which premiere was on August, 27th, 2009, received the Jury Prize, and the Audience Prize in the Los Angeles Latin Cinema Festival. + info
